Sport Nutrition Seminar

Nutrition for Sport

Duration: approx. 2 hours

Athletes spend most of their time recovering, which requires optimal hydration, nutrition, and sleep.

Coaches who are looking to supplement their athletes’ training with nutritional support can sign up for one of our sport nutrition seminars.

The Registered Dietitian will lead the seminar (in person or virtual) which includes:

  1. Formal presentation

  2. Group discussion

  3. Question and answer period

Athletes will get the opportunity to learn how foods impact performance.

They will explore evidence-based nutrition strategies to incorporate into their training and daily lives.

Coaches can work with the Dietitian to select topics that would best meet the athletes’ needs.

Topics include but are not limited to:

  • Macronutrient Needs

  • Meal Planning & Meal Timing

  • Hydration

  • Nutrition Periodization

  • Nutrition for Recovery

  • Training the gut

  • Ergogenic Aids in Sport

  • Understanding Food Labels

  • Race day/Game day foods

  • Foods while travelling
